InspireEar is managed by Yaksha Makan. Yaksha is a qualified professional, registered as both an Audiologist and Speech and Language Therapist. The audiologist has been practicing for over 10 years in a variety of clinical settings, with people from all backgrounds and ages.
Values of dignity, respect, compassion, and ethics form the foundation in every treatment.
Treatments are conducted to ensure a personal experience whilst ensuring the individual's uniqueness and confidentiality.
Appointment times are flexible to accommodate the individual's schedule.
InspirEar was founded in 2020 by Qualified Audiologist and Speech Therapist, Mrs Yaksha Makan. She studied a dual degree in South Africa, at the University of the Witwatersrand, and is actively practising in both fields since 2012. She has worked with populations from birth to later life, in a variety of settings. She partakes in continuous professional development opportunities and keeps up with the latest trends in research. Yaksha believes in a person-centred approach backed by evidence-based practice. Her experience allows for her to practice in a holistic way, whilst maintaining clinical excellence, ethical standards and friendly service.
